We owe it to those who put their lives and their souls on the line for us all. It’s not about politics. They deserve everything we can do for them to ensure that they and their families can live the same life of peace and joy that so many of us take for granted.

• It’s about young men and women who have been made to see and do things humans should never have to experience.
• It’s about young men and women who have returned changed through no fault of their own in ways most of us cannot  – and may never – understand.
• It’s about a debt every one of us owes them as they struggle to find wholeness in a world gone crazy.
• The devastating effects of PTSD reach far beyond the returning troops. Families, children, and our entire community all suffer because of PTSD.

PTSD Affects us All

Some of us can help directly, others of us can help by providing the financial means necessary to provide the help so desperately deserved by our brothers, sisters, children, mothers and fathers.

We need your help to continue this work. Although we do have a fee schedule posted, it does not begin to cover our expenses. I donate my time offering counseling at no charge for veterans through the Erie Vet Center. I offer low cost counseling through the Iraq Vets Stress Project. And though I have posted fees, I never turn anyone away for lack of ability to pay.

How You Too Can Help Our Veterans

• Consider a monthly financial gift to keep this work going. Any amount will help and be appreciated, but just $20.00 will provide an hour of counseling. This represents  a 66% discount from our already low standard rates. A monthly gift of $100 will provide five hours of no-cost counseling to veterans each month!
• Perhaps a one-time gift would fit your financial situation better. Any amount will go toward helping veterans regain control of their lives.
• All gifts are fully deductible as charitable contributions, to the extent allowed by law.
