EFT Questions
Q. Will I be forced to confront my issues? I get uncomfortable just thinking about some things.
A. EFT is a very gentle technique. This is not a “no pain no gain” approach. We will not force you to go with your thoughts where you do not want to go. We will proceed in a way that is comfortable for you.
Q. Are there any negative side effects?
A. Not that we are aware of. However, having said that, we are spiritual counselors, not licensed mental health professionals, and if you have severe psychological problems or serious mental disorders, and wish to use EFT, you should seek out an appropriate mental health professional who has been trained in EFT. You must take complete responsibility for your own health.
Q. It almost sounds like you can cure everything with this.
A. EFT has an impressive success rate, and we wish that were so. The EFT motto is
“try it on everything” because it can work on almost anything, but as in medicine,
there is no guarantee that it will. Also, we do not “cure” anything. We help you
rebalance your system’s energies, allowing your own God-
Reiki Questions
Q. What can I expect to experience at a Reiki Session?
A. We’ll begin with a brief discussion of why you’ve asked us to come, and we’ll take care of some very brief paperwork. Then we’ll just ask you to get comfortable. After that, you can just close your eyes and relax. We’ll ask you how you’re doing from time to time, and we’ll have some soft music playing if that’s all right with you.
Q. Is Reiki like massage?
A. This is not massage. We do not apply any pressure, only a very light touch, and we do not manipulate any tissues or muscles in any way. In fact, at times our hands will not even touch your body, especially when dealing with sensitive or personal areas or if you would simply prefer not to be touched.
Q. Will I have to remove my clothes?
A. Absolutely not. You remain fully clothed throughout the session.
Q. Is Reiki acceptable for Christians?
A. We can’t speak for all Christians, but healing by laying on of hands goes back to Jesus, who healed in this way, as did the disciples. We ourselves are ordained ministers. For some interesting resources on this topic, click here:

General Questions
Q. What if I don’t live near you?
A. EFT can easily be done over the phone just as effectively as in person. Reiki can also be done through a technique called distance healing.
Q. How long will this take? Will I have to keep coming back?
A. Although both EFT and Reiki can have total success in only one session, your situation is unique, and continuing sessions may be necessary. With EFT, once an issue has been thoroughly dealt with, it is often gone for good. Reiki has a slightly different purpose, and is excellent for general balancing of the body’s energies. Reiki is particularly useful for recovery from physical trauma, and before and after surgery. Many people schedule regular Reiki sessions as part of an ongoing plan to maintain optimum health and obtain deep relaxation and stress relief on a regular basis.
Q. Do you accept insurance?
A. At this time we do not, but if your insurance covers complementary and alternative therapies, we will be glad to help you fill out the forms.
Q. Are you insured?
A. We are fully insured.
Q. Do you work on pets or other animals?
A. Yes. Animals respond particularly well to energy work, though hands-
